The Venue
DreamEscape has a comfortable setup with tables and board games available before or after your room. Staff are friendly and the space feels welcoming — they run regular Magic: The Gathering events and have a solid game selection. Worth arriving early to browse.
Escape The Puzzler
Strongly thematic, immersive, and demanding. With four players, we were all fully occupied — switching puzzles midway through to get fresh eyes on stubborn problems.
The strongest aspects: consistent theming, purposeful clues, and a non-linear design that didn’t frustrate us the way non-linear rooms sometimes do. Every clue tied together logically. The room surprised us — we expected to be annoyed by non-linearity and ended up loving it. Strong recommendation.
Empress Hotel
Different tone, different style. We’ll update this section after a return visit.
Conclusion
DreamEscape delivers well-crafted rooms with strong thematic execution. The Puzzler especially stands out for its cohesion and immersion. If you’re in the Edmonton or Leduc area, these rooms are worth the trip.
