OVERVIEW

Our Rating:

The object of this award winning game from NorthStar Games is to have the most money at the end. The basic concept is each player reads a question and everyone will take a guess of what they might think the answer will be. The type of questions asked, would end up being mostly a number answer, so there is really no right or wrong answer. After everyone writes their answers down, all answers are revealed.

The next step is, everyone would than place a bet on one of the answers, they can even put a bet on their own answers. Keeping in mind that you cannot go over what the actual answer is.

You can up the ante by placing the money poker chips on top if you think you have the correct answer. Then the answer of the question is read aloud. The players with their poker chips on the winning answer get money poker chips in relation to the odds on the board. You don’t get any money if your guess was correct, unless you actually bet you own answer.

My Rating:

Likes

  • Everyone plays on every single turn(hate waiting for my turn)
  • That you can bet.
  • It’s simple.
  • Short rounds (You can play pretty much as many as you want, the game ends when you want it to).

Dislikes

  • The fact there is quite a few American questions that I wasn’t really sure of what the answer would be.
  • The money wasn’t real, LOL.

Intro/First Impressions

It’s a nice box, nice bright yellow. Looks intriguing, Lots of question, I think I am gonna like this game. Oh no there are lots of different colour chips. My colour blindness might fail me again. shit! The poker chips with $2500 on them look awesome. How do I get me some of those?

Thoughts

The betting system, is one my favourite aspects, it reminds me of poker. This game is really simple, You answer a question and and place a bet on what you think the answer is. When I say simple I mean it, My 5 year old nephew was playing this game people.

It’s a great party game for all ages and all type of boardgamers. The one thing I am unsure about is the fact that it is an American game and there are a lot of American based questions. This can get difficult or frustrating for Canadians. I still bought it anyway.

It had everyone laughing and having a good time. It was quite funny to see how far off people were on the actual correct answer.

Conclusion

I would label this as, a game for everyone.
